THE ALPHA COURSE! 

Have you tried to tell someone about Jesus, but the words just don’t come out right?  Perhaps you don’t even know where to start.  Or, maybe you’ve thought about attending the previous Alpha courses yourself but always had a conflict.  Now is the time to take action!

We have another ten week course starting up and we would enjoy you and/or your friends’ company.  Over 8 million people worldwide have now attended an Alpha course with 120 of those being from Cross.  It is a great place to learn, ask questions, and discuss issues in a friendly, relaxed setting.  There is no fee for the course.

On Monday, September 28 at 6:00 p.m. at Cross we will have an Introductory Dinner.  This evening is designed to introduce the ALPHA course to anyone who wishes to learn more before attending.  We will have dinner (free-will offering), watch a short video, and hear from some who have attended a previous course.   

The schedule for each subsequent Monday evening is:  6:00 p.m.-Dinner; 6:40 p.m.-Welcome and Songs of Worship; 6:50 p.m.-DVD Talk; 7:35 p.m.-Break; 7:45 p.m.-Small Groups Discussion and Questions; 8:30 p.m.-Evening Ends.   Yes, this is a time commitment but one you will not regret.  Give it a try for the first few weeks and see what you think.  (There is no homework involved.)

If you haven’t already attended Alpha, here is your opportunity.  If you have already attended, stop by the table in the Narthex and pick up a brochure or two and invite your friends and attend on the 28^th with them.  This is your chance to fulfill our mission statement – To Be and Make Disciples for Christ.
